I know the recommended age was a year old...however, my baby hair was unmanageable no lie. From birth none of it fell out. So it was really thick and stayed dry dull. I love the Shea Butter!!! It's growing my girls hair like crazy. You have to use it the recommended every 4 days to get the best results. My only problem is that I wish they sold bigger jars of it.
